Here is why Urvashi Rautela occupied four seats at the 2020 Filmfare Awards

The star recently made headlines for the red gown that she wore to the award function.

For the event, the Pagalpanti actor donned a flowy red strapless gown with a long train that had feathery details. And the grand attire, designed by Albina Dyla, took as much space as four seats, she revealed in an Instagram post. The caption read. “Without my wonderful team this wouldn’t be possible one of my heaviest red carpet experiences sat on 4 seats.” In another post she thanked everyone for 23 million followers on Instagram. Urvashi also informed that it took almost 730 hours to create the dress. The gown had a plunging neckline with a sequined bodice.

Apparently the dress also came with a hefty price. Designed by Albina Dyla, the gown took the internet by storm. A source told the Deccan Chronicle. “Urvashi had planned the dress with the designer over a month ago and it took a while to prepare. Not only was the gown very heavy, but heavily priced too.”

Turns out that the dress weighed over 25 kilograms and cost Rs 20 lakhs. It was also carried by half a dozen people from the airport to the venue after stopped by the customs during the clearance process on the way from Kosovo.
“Yes, it was very heavy. I almost thought I will faint during the event, but I guess the weight-lifting sessions in the gym helped me ‘carry off’ the dress well,” the Pagalpanti actress admitted.

The gown is not Urvashi’s first look to make headlines. The actress donned a thigh high-slit black gown designed by Albina Dyla before and it was a huge hit! Take a look at the pictures:
